Unfortunately Matthew Taylor MP was unable to attend the conference as the Government announced their response to his review on the day of the conference. A statement was issued by his office welcoming the Governments very positive report on the recommendations they plan to take forward from the review.
The "Planners Guide to the Rural Economy" was launched at the conference. This document was produced by INTend and it is hoped that this will become an invaluable reference tool for all planning professionals when assessing planning applications in rural areas.
